Delete your account

Bahd is a bus ticket booking app published by IOUTDEV PLC. This page explains how to delete your Bahd account and what happens to your data when you do.

Deleting your account cannot be undone. You will lose access to your booked tickets and saved traveller details, and you will need to create a new account to book with Bahd again.

Delete in the app

This is the fastest route and takes effect immediately.

Open the Bahd app and sign in.
Go to the Profile tab.
Tap Passenger details.
Scroll to the Delete account section.
Tap Delete my account.
Read the warning, then confirm with PROCEED.

Your account is deleted right away and you are signed out.

Request by email

Use this if you have uninstalled Bahd, lost access to your device, or cannot sign in. You do not need an account to make this request.

Email support@bahd.app from the address registered to your Bahd account, with the subject “Account deletion request”.

We verify that the request comes from the account owner before deleting anything, then confirm by email once it is done — within 30 days of your request.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

Your name, email address and phone number
Your date of birth, country of birth and title
Your travel document details — ID type, ID number and issuing country
Saved passenger details used to pre-fill bookings
Your sign-in credentials, including any Google or Facebook connection
Your notification settings and the push registration for your devices
Feedback and issue reports you submitted that are linked to your account

What we keep, and for how long

A small amount of information must be retained after deletion so that we can meet accounting, tax and bus-operator settlement obligations.

Records of completed ticket purchases and payments

Amount, date, route and transaction reference.

Why: Legally required financial records, and settlement with the operator who carried you.
How long: 5 years from the date of purchase, then deleted.

Anonymised travel statistics

Aggregated counts of trips taken on a route.

Why: Understanding demand across routes. These cannot be traced back to you once your account is deleted.
How long: Indefinitely, in anonymised form.

Retained purchase records are separated from your identity where possible, and are never used to contact you or to rebuild your profile.

Tickets booked without an account

Bahd lets you book as a guest, without signing in. Guest bookings are linked to your device rather than to an account, so deleting an account does not remove them.

To have guest bookings deleted, email support@bahd.app with your ticket reference.
